Bigger, Faster, Stronger.

What trampoline lessons do we offer?

We offer recreational trampoline lessons for children and young adults. Along with the opportunity to join the Accelerate squad and compete for the club at trampoline competitions.

Trampoline lessons

Our recreational trampoline lessons are ideal for anyone who wants to have fun whilst developing trampoline skills, keeping fit and making friends. Our trampoline lessons are led by qualified and approachable coaches who work together to create a friendly and welcoming environment.

We also use the official British Gymnastics badge scheme in our trampoline lessons. This is a brilliant, visual way to track progress and to celebrate achievements.

These trampoline lessons are open to all. We strive to introduce as many as possible into the amazing world of trampolining.

Squad sessions

This is perfect for those more advanced members who wish to showcase their trampoline skills in a more competitive environment. Being in Accelerates regional trampoline squad will allow you to represent your club in competitions around the South West. It also means you will get the chance to represent the South West at trampolining in the Regional Finals! This is the first step forward into the world of competitive trampolining. In and amongst training hours, there will be set conditioning times, these are compulsory for those jumping in this group as it is important to hone strength and flexibility as well as trampolining technique.

FAQ’s

How do I book a place?

First email us at Head to the Shop page and order a trial in our sessions. On the notes add what time is preferable for your child to bounce, the name and age of your child and if they have any additional learning needs. From there we will set up your trial session.

What do I need to wear to the sessions?

You will need to wear comfortable clothes that allow free movement. Some examples of what to wear are: shorts, leggings, tracksuit bottoms. You will also need to make sure you have socks when you come to the session. You will need to make sure all jewellery is removed and you have long hair is tied back.

What safety measures are in place to protect my child?

Safety is Accelerate’s primary concern. We minimise risks through practicing safe coaching. Every one of our coaches is fully qualified to teach the skills they are working with and understand all the safety considerations. We will teach every skill correctly and reinforce the basics. All this is done with good matting and other coaching tools.

In the current climate, Covid security is also a big part of our risk assessments. All sessions will be socially distanced and equipment will be sanitised between sessions.

What are the benefits of trampoline?

Trampolining is an extremely dynamic sport that builds fitness whilst being fun. At Accelerate, your child will be improving physical skills such as strength, flexibility and spatial awareness whilst making friends in a fun and welcoming environment. The sport also helps develop self-confidence, perseverance, patience and commitment.

How do I pay for the sessions?

Your first sessions with Accelerate can be a trial. This is so your child can decide if they like it before having to pay for any sessions. After that, fixed payments will be made monthly.

We offer a discounted monthly rate that, per hour reduces.

Am I allowed to come in to watch my child bounce?

In normal circumstances, you are welcome to come into the hall and watch your child bounce. However with the current Covid 19 restrictions, we are only able to have a certain amount of people in the hall at one time. This means that until Covid restrictions are eased, we are not able to have parents in the building.
